2009 Early Career Development Fellowship
These Fellowships encourage the very best researchers to choose cancer research as their career and to continue independent research that is nationally and internationally competitive. These Fellowships will support researchers within five years of completing a PhD.

2009 Clinical Research Fellowship
The Cancer Institute NSW Clinical Research Fellowships are aimed at strengthening and supporting clinical research in hospitals by providing opportunities for cancer clinicians to develop and sustain long-term careers in clinical research.

2009 International Clinical and Research Fellowship
These fellowships will place our best future leaders in world renowned cancer centres to complete their training, obtain new ideas and techniques and to develop life-long contacts around the world. These grants strengthen cancer research capacity by funding new high level academic posts and supporting outstanding research teams in New South Wales hospitals, universities or other institutions. These grants attract outstanding research leaders from interstate and overseas, and enable them to build a core team of researchers.

The Cancer Institute NSW recognises the importance of research infrastructure in the development of capacity and high-quality cancer research in New South Wales. The Research Infrastructure Grants aim to support excellence through the funding of key research platforms, core equipment and staff for New South Wales cancer research.

Research Innovation Grants (Research Foundation Grants)
These grants are one-off research grants to establish research data, proof-of-principal or important research concepts.
