What is the process of becoming a NSWOG member?
To become a member of NSWOG, click here to email the NSWOG Secretariat on with the name of the group you would like to join, your interest and experience. This request will be sent to the Chair for approval, upon which you will receive background information on NSWOG, previous minutes, terms of reference and an invitation to attend the next meeting.
How many NSWOG meetings are there each year?
Individual NSWOGs meet at varying frequencies, from three to six times each year. Meeting activity can occur outside of formal meetings, through email correspondence and subcommittee activities.
How do I subscribe to receive copies of NSWOG News?

Who does NSWOG report to?
NSWOG reports to the Cancer Services Advisory Committee and the Quality and Clinical Effectiveness Committee of the Cancer Institute NSW.
How is NSWOG governed?
Each NSWOG is governed by a Chair and Deputy Chair elected by Active Members of the Group and an executive of all NSWOG Chairs meets bi-annually. Each Group has a Cancer Institute NSW representative assigned to it and is supported by a secretariat, provided by the Cancer Institute NSW.
What if I can’t make meetings in person?
We offer teleconference, videoconferencing and web conferencing facilities to all committee members. For rural members, the Cancer Institute NSW will support the reasonable costs of travel and one night’s accommodation where necessary subject to approval.
