Michael Kidd is Professor of General Practice, Head of the Discipline of General Practice and Associate Dean with the Faculty of Medicine at The University of Sydney. He works as a general practitioner in the inner-city suburb of Darlinghurst in Sydney where he has a special interest in the care of people with HIV. He is also responsible for the University Health Service at The University of Sydney. He was President of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners from 2002-2006.
