The Cancer Institute NSW supports high quality pathology, particularly histopathology, in optimal cancer care. NSWOG Pathology was integral in progressing issues relating to synoptic reporting since its first meeting in 2005. In 2007, NSWOG Pathology was restructured in line with National initiatives to develop, disseminate and maintain guidelines for structured pathology reporting of cancer.
