Head of Thoracic Medicine, Concord Hospital
MP is a Thoracic Physician and Head of Thoracic Medicine at Concord Hospital. He trained at Concord, completed an MD based on work there and at Royal North Shore Hospital before spending three years at the Royal Brompton National Heart and Lung Institute in London. He has a strong interest in both research and advocacy and is Chairman of Action on Smoking and Health. He has been involved in the Global Lung Cancer Coalition since 2002 and is now chair. The Coalition brings together Lung Cancer charities from Europe, Asia the Americas and the Pacific region.

- Developing, promulgating and assessing treatment algorithms for the management of lung cancer in NSW
