Cancer Institute NSW Nursing and Allied Health Clinical Research Grants Program 2008
The Cancer Institute NSW Nursing and Allied Health Clinical Research Grants Program is strategically designed to provide a year where experienced cancer nurses and senior allied health clinicians in cancer care, who have completed their Masters degree in a relevant oncology or palliative care related discipline, can undertake part-time research. This program aims to build upon and further support improvement in cancer care, research and best practice.
The Cancer Institute NSW Nursing and Allied Health Clinical Research Grant Program aims to:
- develop research skills and knowledge in experienced nursing and allied health cancer care clinicians;
- advance the research and clinical expertise of the successful recipient in their chosen area; and
- build the evidence base for clinical practice in cancer care.
In accordance with the Cancer Institute NSW Deed of Agreement, progress reports for 2008 Clinical Research recipients must be submitted to the Cancer Institute NSW at the following intervals:
- June 30 Progress report
- December 31 Final Report
These reports enable to Cancer Institute NSW to assess whether satisfactory progress is being achieved. This report must be typed and submitted using this electronic form by the due date. A different reporting template will be provided for the final report at the conclusion of the program.
The Cancer Institute NSW is proud to announce the awarding of three Cancer Institute NSW Clinical Research Grant recipients for 2008, commencing in January. The Cancer Institute NSW would like to congratulate all three recipients, their supervisors and administering institutions.
