2006 Nurse Education Scholarships
As part of our commitment to the ongoing professional development of nurses working in cancer, the Cancer Institute NSW established Nurse Education Scholarships in 2006. This program aimed to provide nurses working in an oncology discipline (medical, radiation, surgery, haematology or palliative cancer care) an opportunity to access a range of study options available through universities, tertiary institutions and Area Health Services. The program was offered to nurses currently employed in institutions within the NSW public sector cancer centres and/or NSW hospitals that provide cancer treatment.
The Cancer Institute NSW awarded thirteen Nurse Education scholarships for 2006.
