Travel Grants
The Cancer Institute NSW has established a number of international and national travel grants to support the ongoing professional development of cancer health professionals from NSW working in public, private, community or clinical acute settings. This includes medical registrars in training, cancer nurses, clinical trials nurses, data managers, cancer nurse coordinators, social workers, psychologists, radiation therapists, medical physicists, Cancer Institute NSW Clinical Fellows and other health professionals (e.g. cancer genetic counsellors).
This programme assists cancer health professionals working across NSW to attend national or international conferences and seminars related to cancer management and supportive care. Funds cover registration, return economy airfares (when required) and reasonable accommodation expenses to a value of $2000 for national conferences or $5000 for international conferences.
A Review Panel assesses all applications. Only applicants that meet the required criteria will be considered.
