Online statistics module

The online statistics module allows researchers, health professionals and patients to access and review the latest data about cancer in NSW.

The portal allows you to unlock the most recent cancer incidence and mortality data in NSW.

Simply follow the prompts to access the information you are interested in and you will be able to see graphs, tables, maps and trends.

Data available through the online statistics module includes:

  • Cancer information by Area Health Service and Local Government Area
  • Cancer trends by age group
  • Cancer trends by country of birth
  • Incidence and mortality rates by socioeconomic status and index of remoteness
  • Cause of cancer death.

The module is currently being updated to produce information according to the new Local Health Networks that have been established as part of the Commonwealth's health reforms.
