Multidisciplinary Management of Head & Neck Oncology

Progress has been made in the understanding of the pathogenesis of head and heck malignancies which rapidly leads to the elaboration of tailored treatments. Functional imaging has emerges as a complementary modality to anatomic imaging methods for better staging, treatment response evaluation and optimal treatment targeting. Surgery has significantly improved, in particular with better reconstruction techniques.
