2011 Oceania Tobacco Control Conference

The conference is recognised as the Oceania region’s foremost leadership summit on tobacco control, engaging some of the world’s leading health experts and disease control specialists.

The theme is "Burying the Habit: moving to a tobacco free future", and the conference is expected to inspire new partnerships in tobacco control, continuing the agenda for change agreed upon at the 2009 Conference in Darwin.

The Conference Program will offer many in-depth sessions across key areas such as: Cessation; Prevention; Smoke-free and second-hand smoke; Social marketing, mass media and digital media; and Tobacco industry and products.
