Cancer Institute NSW, in collaboration with the Cancer Council NSW, supports clinical trials by providing the funding for resources, infrastructure and personnel to trial units and research institutions across NSW.

Network Support grants

The Clinical Trials Network Support Grants program aims to develop high quality cancer clinical trials in NSW, introduce and study new cancer treatments, increase participation rates in cancer trials and promote a culture of research and innovation in cancer services.

Clinical Trial Nurse/Data Manager

The Cancer Institute NSW supports the placement of trials nurses and data managers within cancer clinical trials units. This provides a dedicated hospital-based resource to support patients, their families and cancer specialists participating in clinical trials in NSW.
