Professor Grimmond is a pioneer of whole-genome and transciptome analysis of cancer patients, led Australia's International Cancer Genome Consortium efforts into pancreatic, neuroendocrine and ovarian cancer, and contributed cohort-based mutational landscape studies in melanoma and oesophageal cancer.
