Bone cancer
Bone cancer is a rare cancer that starts in the cells and tissues of bones. It is also called primary bone cancer or sarcoma of the bone.
There are about 30 different types of bone cancer. The most common ones are:
- osteosarcoma
- chondrosarcoma
- Ewing sarcoma.
The Cancer Institute NSW recommends that all people with cancer have their care overseen by a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
