Bile duct cancer
Bile duct cancer starts in the bile ducts, which are tubes that connect the liver to the gallbladder and small intestine. It is also known as cholangiocarcinoma.
It is a rare cancer, which affects more men than women and is more common in people around 50 years old.
The Cancer Institute NSW recommends that all people with cancer have their care overseen by a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
