Leading Better Value Care (LBVC) is a program that identifies opportunities to provide better value care to the people of NSW and develops initiatives to deliver that care.

The Cancer Institute NSW is currently involved in implementing two LBVC initiatives to benefit people in NSW affected by cancer. These two initiatives include:

What are the goals of the program?

A key goal of LBVC Program is to improve value in terms of outcomes that matter for patients.

Based on this, the value of LBVC initiatives are measured in terms of improvements in:

  • health outcomes
  • the experience of patients
  • the experience of healthcare providers
  • effective and efficient care.
