Chronic leukaemia
Chronic leukaemia is a type of blood cancer or haematological cancer. It is a rare cancer that is more common in people aged 50 years and over.
The two main types of chronic leukaemia are:
- chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML)
- chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL).
The Cancer Institute NSW recommends that all people with cancer have their care overseen by a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
