Hodgkin lymphoma is a type of blood or haematological cancer that starts in white blood cells known as lymphocytes. It is sometimes called Hodgkin disease.
Hodgkin lymphoma is a rare cancer. It occurs more often in younger people aged 15-29 years and in people over the age of 65 years.
The Cancer Institute NSW recommends that all people with cancer have their care overseen by a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
