Sarcoma is a rare cancer which can develop anywhere in the body. It is more common in children and young adults.
Soft tissue sarcomas start in the soft tissues of the body, including muscle, fat, blood vessels, nerves, tendons and tissues around the joints.
The Cancer Institute NSW recommends that all people with cancer have their care overseen by a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
