Julie is responsible for the overall management of PCOR-NSW. Julie has a health and research background and prior to joining the PCOR-NSW team was a Project Manager at the Early Start Centre (based at the University of Wollongong) where she was involved with the development of movement guidelines for children and young people. 

 

Administrative Officers

Karen Silva

Karen Silva

Certificate 4 in Frontline Management and Certificate 3 in Business Administration

Karen has over 10 years’ administrative experience and previously worked for the Kennedy Health Group whereby she was responsible for the administrative needs of three nursing homes. Karen manages the administrative needs of PCOR-NSW and also assists with recruitment and data entry.

 

Mary Abdallah

Mary Abdallah

Mary has over 10 years administrative experience and previously worked at the Australian Passport Office where she was responsible for processing and issuing passports. Mary has worked in the Cancer Institute for a number of years and joined the PCOR-NSW team in 2023. Mary provides administrative support and her tasks include mail distribution and data entry.

 

Data Collection Officers

Amanda McParlane

Amanda McParlane

Amanda has clinical nursing experience as a registered nurse and experience in the management of clinical and epidemiological research studies. Amanda has worked within cancer related registries for 9 years and is responsible for collecting data from participating hospitals and clinicians and the collection of Quality of Life data from participants.

 

Rebecca Sebastian

Rebecca has a background in psychology and experience working in the mental health field, and as a Research Assistant. Rebecca is responsible for collecting data from participating hospitals and clinicians and the collection of Quality of Life data from participants.

 

Colin Moloney

Colin Moloney

B Ed (Adult Ed), Grad Cert Lang Teach, MSW
Colin Moloney has a background in social work and has a Master’s degree in Social Work, obtained at the Australian Catholic University. Colin has worked with people from culturally and linguistic diverse backgrounds, young adults, people with disability and people who have experienced social disadvantage. Colin is responsible for collecting data from participating hospitals and clinicians and the collection of Quality of Life data from participants.

 

Sue Virago

Suzan Virago

B Arts (Sustainability) Cert IV Stevedoring

Sue comes from a 25 year background in logistics and planning where her experience in data accuracy and prioritising tasks, according to timelines, were a daily focus. Sue is responsible for collecting data from participating clinicians and hospitals and the collection of Quality of Life data from participants. 

 

Charlotte Lawrance

Charlotte Lawrance

Charlotte is a social work student with experience in reception and administration. Charlotte is responsible for collecting data from participating hospitals and clinicians and the collection of Quality of Life data from participants.

 

Larry Mourad

Larry Mourad

BMSc
Larry has a background in different science fields such as pharmacology, anatomical pathology, and data management for various pathological fields. He has a Bachelor of Medical Science which he obtained through the University of Technology Sydney. Larry is responsible for collecting data from participating hospitals and clinicians mainly located in Sydney’s West and Southwest, and the collection of Quality of Life data from participants.
