Professor Jane Young

Jane Young is Professor in Cancer Epidemiology at the University of Sydney where she is the Director of Academic Career Development and Clinical Engagement within the Sydney School of Public Health and is a member of the Daffodil Centre, a joint venture between the University of Sydney and the Cancer Council NSW.

Professor Young and her USYD research teams will use the CanDLe datasets to conduct health services research to investigate variations in care and outcomes for people with cancer. Their research hopes to identify where services can be optimised to improve quality of life and survival for people with lung cancer and ultimately aims to improve cancer care and outcomes for people with lung cancer across NSW.
