Bronchoscopy
Who produced this campaign?
Campaign description
The Bronchoscopy campaign encouraged smokers to quit by focusing on a well-established health consequence of smoking—lung cancer.
It showed smokers what lung cancer sounds and looks like.
The whistling or wheezing noise is the sound of a lung tumour almost completely blocking an airway. Lung tumours that are found at this late stage are often too late to operate.
Quit smoking support is available through the iCanQuit.com.au and the NSW Quitline (13 7848).
