Department of Health UK

Campaign description

Getting off cigarettes on your own can be hard but getting professional help can make it much easier.  In this campaign smokers were encouraged to talk to their GP, pharmacist or Quitline to learn about strategies and new medications that are available which can significantly increase chances of successfully quitting.

Get Off Cigarettes campaign was originally developed by the Department of Health UK. It has been adapted by the Cancer Institute NSW to highlight the range of support services available to Australian smokers.

Quit smoking support is available through  iCanQuit.com.au and the NSW Quitline (13 7848).
