Improving the experience of cancer patients

Helping people to give direct and timely feedback about their cancer experience and outcomes means they can receive more personalised care. This feedback can also allow further improvement to the overall quality of the health system.

The Institute is building on ways to collect and use patient feedback about cancer experiences and outcomes (psychological, social, physical, functional and spiritual wellbeing). This includes collaborating with other health organisations and cancer services to capture the experiences of people with cancer, and feeding this information back to clinicians and the broader health system to improve the quality of care.
